Soft finishes, practical slab formats and elegant neutral interiors.
Sand-Toned Finishes, Sizes & Uses
Soft sand toned material is generally available polished and honed, with satin, brushed or antiqued finishes suited to residential and hospitality interiors. Polished slabs work well for reception counters, fireplace surrounds, vanity tops and formal wall cladding, while honing creates a soft low-glare surface for flooring, stairs, bathrooms and spa environments. Full slabs typically fall within approximately 2,400–3,100 × 1,300–1,850 mm, with usable dimensions dependent on quarry yield and trimming. Standard thicknesses are usually 20 mm and 30 mm; 20 mm is suitable for supported walls, furniture and vanity tops, whereas 30 mm provides improved strength for counters, treads, shelves and deeper edge profiles. Dark Burberry Beige Marble can be used across hotel corridors, residential floors, bathrooms, fireplace walls, kitchen islands, lift interiors and dining furniture. Large installations should be sourced from one production batch and dry-laid before fabrication so tonal variation is distributed evenly. Wet areas require waterproofing, full adhesive coverage and movement joints, while floor finishes should be slip-tested. Countertops should be sealed and maintained with pH-neutral products. Spare pieces from the original batch should be retained because later material may shift noticeably in warmth and overall tone.
